U.E. grad James Johnson handcuffed the Yankees tonight allowing only one hit in three and a third innings to earn the save. Johnson sporting a 000 ERA has allowed only one hit over the last 17 batters he faced. I hope channel 12 has time to mention this on the sports tonight. They might not have time because they will be too busy covering the womens Community college lacrosse game.

BALTIMORE -- Brian Burres and Jim Johnson combined on a six-hitter and the Baltimore Orioles beat the New York Yankees 6-0 on Saturday night.

Burres gave up five hits and four walks with two strikeouts in 5 2-3 innings for the Orioles, and Johnson, a Union-Endicott graduate, allowed just one hit the rest of the way to pick up the first save of his career.

Ramon Hernandez and Aubrey Huff each drove in two runs and Kevin Millar homered for the Orioles. Brandon Fahey added two hits.
