Guest Guest
but carmelo didn't go to the nba and gmac had a great game. Thats what great teams and players do to win a title.Every single division 1 top teams ALL play bullshit preseason games before league play starts. Syracuse is #5 in all time wins in mens basketball. That boy's is greatness. And if you don't like the cuse or coach B who the hell cares. Thank you for your time.

Guest Guest
just one that I know of, the rest are all on welfare or in jail. He has graduated enough to still be eligible for 2013 Postseason play which is more then can be said for rival UCONN at this point! I find the drug policy investigation interesting. The NCAA does not have an overriding testing policy/procedure but schools can have their own. If a school does have one and they do not obide by it thats where they can get in trouble with the NCAA. Just curious how many teams do not even bother testing in the first place.
Guest Guest
no worries guys- their coach is white- it's ok..right Pete Thamel? right woodchucks? Thamel is Syracuse alum. He would never "expose" anything there. Today, I saw Broadus sitting on the bench with the Georgetown team, televised on ESPN. While the idiots up at SUNY are posting on BC voice about how he ruined their reputation. Broadus got a million bucks, not likely he would have got it if SUNY thought they wouldn't lose even more. Guest Mr Sarcastic
It is sad to say but it looks like Boheim is just an enabler like most of the other coaches. You cant have a molester on your staff dor all those years and not know it. The DA said he would have pressed charges except for the statue of limitations. Now this is icing on the cake....They are a dirty program and put winning instead of doing the right thing.....Very dissapointed in Jim B, his legacy is now tainted

Guest Guest
Jimbo got lucky with a freshman named Carmelo and GerryMac going nuts hitting 3-pointers in the 1st half Without either one.....he's still without a NC This is seriously one of the dumbest arguments ever. Basically what your saying is if Gordon Hayward hit his half court shot, duke wouldnt have won the NC. If Kemba Walker didn't go nuts last postseason UCONN wouldnt have one a NC. Going back, based off of your argument or statement rather, if Keith Smart didn't hit that half court shot SU would have then won a NC. Whats your point, you could say that about anything! So by your logic if Barton didnt touch that ball for the cubs, the cubs would have finally won a world series, is that how that works?
Guest Guest
Not that hard of a concept to understand. Simple really - without Carmello, Boeheim is still looking for a National Championship. Let's see - in 35 years he has made 3 Final 4s and ONLY 4 Elite Eights. For a coach with ~900 wins, that level of post season failure is pathetic. Especially since he has had at least 15 tems that entered the Tournament ranked in the Top 10 ... The numbers don't lie kids .

I am with you but Keith Smart didn't hit no half court shot skipper, It was baseline just outside the key. Anyone that argues that Boeheim hasn't done a nice job just plain isn't paying attention. He took a program that played in Manley field house and barely contended barring a few seasons in the 70's and made them matter every year in the Big East and on the National Scene. 3 finals appearences, One championship team, numerous NBA players and tournament appearences. He made kids want to go to SYRACUSE! Why would anyone want to go there as opposed to UCLA or any southern school is Jimmy wasn't doing a good job?? Getting a friggin' clue. Hate him for Bernie Fine or the drug allegations but to say he got lucky isn't borderline retarded, it is retarded.
Guest Guest
Pete Thamel, where are you? 3 major program scandals in one season. Lack of control at SU!!!! time for an expose piece like the one you wrote on BU. C'mon, get Jimmy B's little pecker out of your hand for a minute and tell us about your beloved 'Cuse you racist piece of trash

YES YES - We all applaud old Jimmy for his 900 wins (500 vs cupcakes but we won't talk about that). The post-season record is what seperates the great ones and sadly he has not distinguished himself there. 4-12 in Sweet Sixteen games says it all. He is at the Top of the list when it comes to post-season choke jobs, routinely losing to lower seeded teams. Take away 2003 and it's borderline horrific. He should kiss Carmello's ar$e and lick it accross for the one title he did get. Don't be surprised if the old nose picker becomes the first #1 seed to lose to a #16 this year. The icing on the upside down cake - so to speak ...
