BuckedTooth
Look for Johan to throw 84 and go Pedro. Look for the Mets to hit about 75 wins in a pathetic division. Look for the Yanks to win 92. Look for the "little league dump" schtick to hit the over at 100. Parlay your winnings and buy a few tickets and get the Met's attendance up so they can put a MLB product on the field this year.

My expectations are pretty low right now, but I will enjoy watching guys like Wright, Pelf, Davis, Murphy, Niese, Thole,Gee, Tejada and the rest of the home grown crew play every night. Hoping that Santana will look good and Bay will rebound and they can move them both at the break to restock the minors. Alderson and Collins can get the job done- especially if the Madoff stuff forces the Wilpons hand. Gonna be an exciting season!!!!!!!

BuckedTooth
Good call Buck on the over 100---You pay attention ---and sometime the truth hurts Too bad the Mets can't realize that they don't play in Yankee stadium. Then they might actually stop trading away their speed for "power" guys like Bay etal. Talk about a park set up for small ball. At least the Yanks get it. Ibanez oughta "fly out" a few HR's this year, no??

How about an all-time Met Junkie Team? Lenny Dykstra Darryl Strawberry Keith Hernandez Dwight Gooden Fernando Vina Mo Vaughn David Segui Scott Schoeneweis Todd Pratt Paul LoDuca Matt Franco Mark Carreon Todd Hundley Am I forgetting anybody? Mets have a better announce team, I'll give you that, but the Yanks drug guys performed at a much higher level than the Mets junkies. Maybe they need another supplier. You have a few stray allegations in there but your criticism is fair. Personally, I never really liked Roger and wish they had kept Wells that whole stretch but Joe hated him. Who do you really associate him with ?? He only had 1 great year with the Yanks and rode their bats the other two. His best years were with the Blue Jays and of course the Bo Sox. You don't have to be a genius to figure out he started that crap in Toronto. The game is still tainted today, what a dumpload of BS that Braun got away with his violation because someone "broke procedure". FACT: Elevated Level of synthetic testosterone in his urine I don't care where the handler kept his bottle of piss or how long or if he drank it, guilty. The Game and it's Players have sullied the game forever for purists. I am not a purist but I get their points. Waldman and Sterling: Honestly, I wouldn't want them for my kid's little league game. They mess up names, stats, innings, history, and worst of all try to explain technical baseball situations/pitches. "that ball is high, it is far, it is.............caught by Jorgie behind the plate." Mets Announce Team: I think one of the best in baseball. I actually watch them for two reasons: 1. They are great. They know the game and give common sense commentary that anyone could relate but a little more at times for people interested in advanced things. 2. It is good to watch some AAA baseball now and then.

Guest Guest
my god, a parlay is multiple bets on one ticket with better odds than normal. you have to win every bet on the ticket. overseas books will pay a reduced amount if there is a push. mr. sarcastic is right, and didn't need a dictionary to explain it. betting 101. Guest Mr Sarcastic
Thanks for having my back, ive lost a few parlays in my day......As for the Mets, their announcing team is solid, but it is spring training and they are trying to sell us on Lucas Duda being the 2nd coming of Babe Ruth. Looks like a long season ahead for us dwindling Mets rooters........We cant even field a team in spring training without disasters everywhere......Ike with Valley Fever, D Wright pulled rib muscle, give me 500 At Bats against Mike Pelprey, another nice Omar pick, and i would sign 4 years 48 million with somebody.....................
