The Southern Tiers Adam Weitsman co-owns a horse (along with Syracuse coach, Jim Boeheim) that will be in the race on Saturday as Hidden Stash will be in the 147th Run for the Roses...Weitsman has said that he will donate any winnings to charities around Central New York.

Exterminator, winner of the 1918 Kentucky Derby, was owned by Willis Sharpe Kilmer, a local business man. The dam of Graded Stakes Winner Tin Cup Chalice, Twice Forbidden, was bred by Naima Kradjian a local business person.
