Town of Vestal Councilman Stephen J. Donnelly sued by Vestal Landlord for $305K

Town of Vestal council member Stephen Donnelly and his construction company Atlas James construction has been sued today by his landlord where Donnelly’s construction company was once housed.

Donnelly allegedly stopped paying rent and ran up the tab to $18K and owes accelerated rent with total damages to the tune of $305,000.

It was mentioned on this thread that Donnelly defaulted on his home mortgage last month and it was also noted that he’s been sued five separate times since October 13, 2023 from five different funding companies out of Kings County for the same allegation of changing checking accounts prohibiting payment to said funding companies.

It is also noted on Bcvoice that Donnelly has fallen behind on his property taxes for quite some time now.

There was multiple reviews left on Donnelly’s construction website from disgruntled customers who made a $7,500 deposit and Donnelly never showed up or anyone from his Atlas James company to do the work. Another customer out of Vestal claimed they paid Donnelly’s company $2,200 and got the run around and nobody showed up.

 

When the customer went to Atlas James work site it was completely empty and they moved out. Makes sense now that he’s being sued today for past due payment and future payments 

 

If all of these allegations are true he should be removed from town board especially due to the damages being done in Vestal.

It should be noted that the same lawyer Alan Pope is currently suing Stephen Donnelly on behalf of the Osbornes and Dirienzo construction company and Rawley Filbin.

Alan Pope has obtained a $13k money judgement against Donnelly on behalf of the Dirienzo construction and now Alan Pope is representing the Vestal Landlord who filed a lawsuit today against Donnelly’s company Atlas James construction.  
 

Donnelly has bigger things to worry about than him posting on Instagram today about a news article comparing his girlfriend/fiancé Jen Joyce Ferguson to a celebrity named Kylie Jenner.

The Vestal, NY Landlord of Donnelly’s construction company location filed a proposed order today in Broome County Court against town of vestal councilman Stephen Donnelly and his construction company Atlas James.

In their proposed order it stated that Stephen Donnelly “failed to oppose” their default judgement of $289,333 which includes attorney fees of $2,572 and court costs of $856.95
