His wife is batshit crazy. And John is currently embroiled in controversy over his illegal $229,000 payout from Vestal, when he was only entitled to $13,000. I know the Korchaks... and Nadine's level of involvement in that office was scary, she knew everything. The biggest challenge isn't the employees Battisti is bringing in, it's the employees he can't get rid of because of civil service protection. There are Korchak people who will still be working in that office, who are under the orders they will be reporting back to Nadine on a regular basis. I believe Paul is bringing in a team of people with experience in prosecution, investigations, the courts, etc. to get the office back up and running. We all know Korchak is incompetent, but he's going to leave the office in even worse condition than normal, to sabotage Paul's first few months.
