Guy Guestinger
Superintendents often don't live where they work. As far as I have seen they don't pretend to give a sh*t about the community either. They are not pulling the wool over your eyes. Except maybe for the Owego guy who said he would move to Owego, and has not done so. You get what you hire. If you want someone with an investment in the school system and supportive of the community than hire someone who won't mind living there. That is just ignorance. Upon what evidence do you base the Superintendents' indifference to the communities which they serve?
Guest Guest
A guess predicated on the fact that they are only in town during hours they are required to work. Are you a school administrator?
Guest Guest
I'll tell you one thing I wish our ME Superintendent lived in another district preferably one in say California!
Guest guesty
So Bob Bundy is the Super at CF...he's come a long way since the days when he ran the High School AV dept.......guess that gave him the experience he needed to be a building principal as well......fascinating how some administrators get their start. I also remember a horrendous CF principal that was a gym teacher in his 'past life'. He obviously knew someone in high places that got him that position...or maybe someone who was just plain 'high'....

No I'm not. You are hypothesizing. Are you a scientist?
