My son has had the trots half the week My sinuses have been causing my head to throb for about as long My boss's kid has had the "flu" for about 5 days now One of my friends has the stomach bug for the past 3 days. pointrider Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 i'm stuffed up with a cough right now but nothing too serious. kids have been good this year overall. have any of you tried a sweat/sana for a cold. whenever i get a cold i go and sweat it out. feel like a million bucks when you're done. key is constant hydration while you're there. Guest Solomon Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 Flu hit our family hard this week; started out with sore throats then cough, ache all over, fever, no energy, chills, sweating, feeling hot then cold, headache...not fun, and highly contagious. But if you can get to a doctor within 24-48 hours of your first symptoms, get a prescription for Tamiflu. It really helps shorten the duration by a couple of days. Celtic Witch Posted March 10, 2008 Report Share Posted March 10, 2008 Sick for the second time in a month!!! Woke up Saturday with a severe sinus infection. Had to wait until today to get a prescription from my Dr. On top of all that, the heater went in my waterbed and I have to sleep on a cold mattress until I get a new one. Called Waterbed World on Vestal Pkwy and they want $100.00 for a new one. I can get one over the Internet for 60.00 w/ free shipping. Not a great start to the week.
