Guest Guest
Whine...whimper...sniff...sniff..."And I saw people I know and love get beaten and sprayed.....waaaah!" I laughed listening to that one....yeah...all those people you love...more like the ones that have "loved" her! If the twerps were told to stay off the road...and failed to listen(aka OBEY) and then got lippy with the officers...too bad, so sad.
Guest Guest
I think the police did what they had to do. I did not see them arrest the protesters that were being peaceful. I work in the area, and the protesters were there for quite awhile protesting after the confrontation that was showed on the news. They protested and the police stood by to make sure they did not close the road again. As for the pepper spray, I hin that was a good call. That is what it is for. Tazers, I think that would be alittle much.
Guest Guest
I’m disappointed that law enforcement didn’t tazer the protesters that were attempting to resist arrest. Why don't we tazer the President and politicans for getting us in the war?

They did spray their secret sauce on a few of them though.
Guest Guest
Not everyone believes the president is doing the wrong thing, only the hippies, preppies, and freaks. Right. For years, a majority of America has thought that the Bungler in Chief has, well, bungled Iraq and questioned our invasion and occupation. It's been 5 years today. Will there be a cake with candles in the Oval Office this morning?
Guest Guest
Right. Will there be a cake with candles in the Oval Office this morning? The only people that think the president is the bungler in chief is looking at the world through a 60's haze. The 60's are over man, get over it.
Guest Guest
President Bush is the first president we've had who has made the hard decisions to do what needs to be done not just to bring terrorists to justice but also to eliminate them as a threat. All the liberal hand-wringing and smokescreens about "WMDs" is just rubbish: we have to win this fight and win it in such a way as to prevent Islamofascism from being a factor in the world. Whitey Bulger
Not everyone believes the president is doing the wrong thing, only the hippies, preppies, and freaks. sorry i am not a hippy, maybe i have been called preppy before, and i am not a freak. i live a normal life, have a good job, live in a nice house....and am connected with lots of friends and we are all educated and fairly well versed, and most if not all of us believe that we are being lied to by GWB. but then we like to ask questions and i know you wouldnt like that, you just believe whatever you are fed. I THINK THE PRESIDENT IS WRONG! So at least now there are you two people on here who make your statement a little less true. Anymore? Show this person that he is wrong. Guest Guest
This was not a peaceful protest, someone got hurt in a car accident because these "sick in the head" morons were impeding traffic and creating confusion and mayham. Take it to the peace quad, peacenik! I think they got into a car accident because the police were more interested in arresting people than they were making certain that traffic was being directed properly. Had they been directing traffic and making certain there were no accidents, well then there would be no accidents.
Guest Guest
Your so call "war" is technically an occupation, you need to get your military terminology right. Two trillion is two trillion - no matter what.

Guest Guest
yea - 19% of the people think he is doing the right thing HEH. Support for war effort highest since 2006 American public support for the military effort in Iraq has reached a high point unseen since the summer of 2006, a development that promises to reshape the political landscape. According to late February polling conducted by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press, 53 percent of Americans — a slim majority — now believe “the U.S. will ultimately succeed in achieving its goals” in Iraq. That figure is up from 42 percent in September 2007. The percentage of those who believe the war in Iraq is going “very well” or “fairly well” is also up, from 30 percent in February 2007 to 48 percent today. The situation in Iraq remains fluid, of course. A surge in violence or in troop deaths could lead to rapid fluctuations in public opinion. But as the war nears its fifth year, the steady upturn in the public mood stands to alter the dynamics of races up and down the ballot. http://dyn.politico.com/printstory.cfm?uui...0094F73CEC7BAD1

I will continue to criticize GWB. We all know that we could come up with a list of about 240 million Americans who would not make a good President. And we all know that that alone makes GWB uniquely qualified and makes him the best President in History. Right? Keep repeating the same stupid talking points. The great accomplishment and perhaps the only great accomplishment of GWB (besides the obvious Alito and Roberts) is the effect he has on the unstudied such as Democrats, Libs etc. Charles Krauthammer a psychiatrist and talented opinion journalist has termed it "Bush Derangement syndrome" i.e., Bush leaves liberals totally unhinged and furious with hate and loathing. In the world of political conflict what could be more delicious than a liberal in a straight jacket. Thorazine anyone?

The cops wanted to keep their jobs (for the remainder of their 20 year sentance anyway) and the "Generals" didn't want to get sued and believe me they would have been sued.
