Binghamton's Riverlark was flooded again today.

The path has been useable for about a month.

No worries, at least Luke Day was ready to protect the public. The DPW boys did a great job of barricading the path...

I'm sure the winds today had nothing to do with the barricade falling over

wind can not blow down a barrier like that short of hurricane winds that must be what blew away the wi fi users

In all seriousness, since it floods at least once a year, they ought to put up a permanent barricade that can be closed and opened as appropriate. These stupid barricades are tacky and, obviously, not exactly all that effective... (Although, for crying out loud, if you don't see the WATER here, and choose to keep walking, are you REALLY smart enough to deserve to live?)

Oh, and the wind gusts were pretty nutty today. Really. A garbage can lid blew all the way across my yard this morning as I was leaving for work, and my car was blowing all over the highway for a couple of minutes. It's a smaller car, but not THAT small. Yes, there was wind today. Which is still no excuse for this stupid barricade.

I don't see any signage. Do you mean signs? I see a barricade that blew over.
