Guest George Shultz
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/24/ira...aths/index.html GWB: "One day, people will look back at this moment in history and say, 'Thank God there were courageous people willing to serve, because they laid the foundations for peace for generations to come,' " Bush told reporters after a meeting at the State Department. Military officials reported four U.S. soldiers died Sunday in a roadside bombing in Iraq, bringing the American toll in the war to the milestone of 4,000 deaths, including eight Defense Department civilians. The war entered its fifth year last week. How could I possibly add to that? Well, ok, I'll try. This is the MIDDLE EAST he's talking about, right?? GWB knows that, right? Does he own a world atlas? Has he ever looked at it? Does he know where Iraq is?????? At all?????????? Does he have any idea the history of the Middle East??....the seemingly never ending wars, conflicts and killing that's been going on there for the last few centuries?? Didn't anyone in the White House, State Dept. or Pentagon clue him before he gave the Invasion Green Light what's been going on in the ME for a loooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggg time??? Can any man, let alone President of the US, be THIS incredily stoopit????

That is why he won. Anyway, why hasn't the democratically controlled Congress pulled us out of Iraq?
Guest Guest
First of all, Bush has his veto pen and the democrats don't have enough of a majority to over ride. Second, they don't have the courage to go against the argument that if they cut fund for the war, they are putting American troops in danger. The president is willing to hold the US military hostage to further his neocon handler's agenda. Third, the democrats suck at presidential politics, look at the garbage the republicans have won with in the last 40 years.

How about a little courage for your convictions. Second - Again, same answer, no courage. Just excuses. Third - Why do the dems keep putting up horrible candidates? Because there are no good ones other than Lieberman.

If the Clintons had responded to the myriad of assaults on this country, there would never have been a 9/11. Hillary was too busy ducking sniper fire and Bill spent too much time............ well you know what he was doing.

That's sure to take the spotlight off GWB, isn't it? Restored dignity? Hmmmm.......... Gas is $1.67 more per gallon now than when GWB took office. How dignified is that? If he's restored dignity, he's also going to leave us with a recession when he vacates the White House. What a leader.

Guest Guest
GWB's long term Legacy: a rotten economy as he's leaving office. http://money.cnn.com/2008/03/25/news/econo...dex.htm?cnn=yes Consumer confidence sank to a five-year low in March as tight credit markets, rising prices and worsening job prospects deepened worries that the economy has fallen into recession. Meanwhile, a widely watched index of U.S. home prices fell 11.4% in January, its steepest drop since data for the indicator was first collected in 1987. The weak readings depressed share prices on Wall Street. The Saviour of the Middle East won't be seen so well in the history books when it comes to domestic economic policies. Who was the last Prez to leave office in a recession.....Carter??

Guest moron detector
Again, why hasn't Congress gotten us out of Iraq? please stop saying this. congress does not have the power to get us out of iraq, espescially not tomorrow. in case you didn't know, there are still republicans in congress. now we will have a war in congress and the dems have to get a % of votes to pass a resolution. then it's sent to the retard, who has veto power over it anyway. do you have the slightest clue of how the government works? obviously not. just shut up already. The Dems are in control of both houses of Congress. What don't you understand about this? ok, i'll walk you through it so you can tell your classmates how it works. to pass any resolution, one party has to have a certain % of votes in each house. republicans probably won't vote to leave iraq, although some would. it doesn't matter anyway, because the president has veto power over congress. i think we all know the retard would veto it. then it goes back to congress where it has to get over 2 thirds vote to override the retard. that won't happen because of republicans in congress. got it now, skippy? i know it's 7th grade stuff, so keep trying. @
