Guest Guest
This Democrats are a lovely ethical bunch, ain’t they? Don't EVEN go there you hypocrite! You gay torture mongers have NO credibility when it comes to ethics. At least we Dems aren't afraid to condemn those among us who break the law. In the Democrat party, boinkin a prostitute is simply a method of assisting the lower class onto a higher rung of life. It's only a little boo-tay thumping, and should be completely discounted according to the standard established by Hillary Clinton. The only caveat for Spitzer is to avoid the bony finger shake, and do not start the BillyBob Clinton denial routine. Democrat's will resoundly denounce republican's for calling for his ouster, and he will remain in office and a member of the scumbag party for life. Guest Guest
The whole Democratic party at the moment is just so delicious. I am so entertained by these morons. They just keep sticking their foot in their mouths. Affirmative action showing up with Barack and Hillary. Law breaking by Spitzer. Rezko making a place along with Obama’s reverend. This is so much better than anything on TV.
Guest Guest
It only shows he's human and prone to err. Why is it that everytime a politician has a little sex it ends up "big news"? Frankly, I don't care who he sleeps with as long as he keeps his personal life separate from his work life.

Frankly, I don't care who he sleeps with as long as he keeps his personal life separate from his work life. If he is creepy enough to pay money to sleep with women and cheat on his wife then what creepy things has he done in office? Lies and deceit don't just stop in personal life they go on at work too especially if you hold any kind of power. This just shows how he can't be trusted. Besides he committed a crime and will be facing charges, he has no choice but to resign.

Guest Guest
A moment of somewhat serious observation: This abysmally stupid, arrogant behavior on "Governor" Spitzer's part may really toss a monkey wrench into "Senator" Cllinton's campaign. Why? Because it will put her 'husband's" corrupt, perjurious, adulterous, deviant behavior under the hot white light of comparative publicity. I really want to see what she says about questions concerning Mr. Spitzer. Chances are it will be "No comment was forthcoming from Clinton campaign staff members." He will admit he did it, go to a substance abuse clinic to hide from the press and then come out about 12 weeks later a recovered and better human being and all will be forgiven. Guest Guest
Don't go comparing ethincs like this to all Dems. Weren't there a record number of Republicans involved with male pages and bathroom boyfriends? Guest Guest
Excerpts from Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s statement to the public, delivered at his Midtown Manhattan office on Monday afternoon. [inaudible] … politics that would rebuild New York and create opportunity for all. We vowed to bring real change to New York and that will continue. Today, I want to briefly address a private matter. I have acted in a way that violated the obligations to my family and that violates my — or any — sense of right and wrong. I apologize first, and most importantly, to my family. I apologize to the public, whom I promised better. I do not believe that politics in the long run is about individuals. It is about ideas, the public good and doing what is best for the State of New York. But I have disappointed and failed to live up to the standard that I expect of myself. I must now dedicate some time to regain the trust of my family. I will not be taking questions. Thank you very much. I will report back to you in short order. Thank you very much. More than 100 reporters, along with 30 television cameras and 20 still photographers, had awaited Mr. Spitzer’s announcement — originally scheduled for 2:15 p.m. — in a packed briefing room at the governor’s office at 633 Third Avene. As the door opened, Mr. Spitzer had his arm around his wife, Silda Wall Spitzer; the two nodded and then strode forward together. Both had glassy, tear-filled eyes, but they did not cry. The governor spoke for perhaps a minute, declining to take questions. As he prepared to leave, three reporters screamed out, “Are you resigning? Are you resigning?” Mr. Spitzer charged out of the room, slamming the door. He charged out of the room and slammed the door...lol for what? It was no ones fault but his own. Guest Guest
I'm looking for it as we speak. I voted for Spitzer and he has done nothing but screw up from the get-go. At least he was right on one thing, "On day one - everything changes." I agree. and what I want to know is - how can someone who was such a good attorney general (and I believe he was) be such a DELETED as governor? Guest Guest
It has not been an easy 1st term for radical leftist Democrat Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer, who has been involved in scandals since taking office; from sicking the police on his political rivals in the GOP, to pushing for drivers licenses for illegal immigrants to seeing his socialist policy initiatives fail in the Albany, it may just get worse. This Democrats are a lovely ethical bunch, ain’t they? at least they have sex with women and not with boys like the pubs! now given that - I think he sucks anyway and I am embarrased to say I voted for him and actually thought he would make agreat governor. Boy oh boy was I wrong!! The sex stuff does not bother me so much as everything else he has screwed up since he became governor.
