Do us all a favor. Go to Wiki... and look up info on Barney Frank. Just please read and try to understand. This man is a danger to the Constitution and economic health of this great nation of ours. Don't be a liberal schmuck.

You are the schmuck. Who gave the banking reports to Barney Frank?

Wow! I'm shocked. ...not at your response, at how long it took you to read up on it. LOL! Nice try. Do us all a favor, move to Massachusetts, a real socialist society a couple steps ahead of New York on its' way to communism.

Yes. I'm sorry - I tend to rely on facts and not on what others tell me.

Do you have a percentage?

LOL. Don't try to end the debate that way. No one has done any such study. You know darn well that this poster is right. There are people who never should have been in the market for a house and tried taking advantage of the extravagance in lending.

Sorry...this is based on common sense and news interviews......when they loosened the restrictions many people who would otherwise not been able to buy a house bought houses....many lied on applications aout their incomes ( as instructed by the lending institutions) and when their adjustable rates went up they could not afford their payments...Do you ever watch the news? They have reported on many of these situations. I am sorry I do not have the percentages for you but if you had half a brain you would know that too many people who shouldn't have bought houses did.

Some did.

Can you define the difference between some and many?

No. I think logically. Tell me, genious, how would we get this percentage? You really are not too bright. You sound like you have a high school diploma, Regents at best. But, probably not much more beyond that. Am I right? Maybe a semester or two at Broome?

Grow up...if that is the best logic that you can use...you better sign up for kindergarten. People bought that shouldn't have plain and simple.

What is your "logic" based on? What others tell you?

If you can't produce facts, then you are obviously the uneducated one and your lame attempt at trying insult me proves that.

Put up or shut up, bitch.

Yeah. Like anyone is going to find statistics on which people shouldn't have acquired loans. What would it be based on? Tell me more about your education. I find your line of questioning very entertaining. I'll hunt for those stats on loans.

Excuse...your argument was the difference between "some" and "many," not "most." You failed your own test jackass.

Why should anyone try to explain even simple logic to someone as ignorant as you....I suppose you get all your facts from CNN or MSNBC or maybe you live in Disny Land far far from REALITY. Life is more than just percentages...take your head out of your butt and look around.

Sorry Dick - didn't mean to insult you - these guests seem to flow together.

My point was, people assume the majority of the blame should be on the borrowers when you would have to agree the majority of the blame should be on the lenders.

I guess the idiot that keeps replying to your post thinks that banks and customers that lied on their apps will just come forward and admit that they lied...I am pretty sure it is illegal to lie on a credit app. The poster willnever get it...he lacks the common sense and intelligence to understand.

Apology accepted but definitely not necessary. Agreed...blame the lenders. Certainly, though, many never should have stepped foot in the bank. We can't ignore the many other conditions that generally lead to shortcomings, though. Thinks like the ever-increasing costs of Medicare and Medicaid, a growing federal beuracracy, and the rising cost of eduction.

Yeah - these banks lend money solely on what people write on the loan apps. They don't try and confirm the information. Why should they? It's only money.
