Never that high. They ask for a donation to help defer the costs for the investigation of the person's failed marriage. The CC has to pay people to do all the leg work. Why should the person in the pew next to that person pay for that person's mistake?

DELETED.

The CC wanted $20,000 to annul my Uncle's Marriage.

From the beginning, marriage has always been between ONE man and ONE woman.

Then why does the Pope cross-dress? Doesn't that send the wrong message to impressionable youngsters?

The Jews are the best authority on their religion. According to them, Jesus was a heretic and did not meet the requirements of their Messiah.

....and they will be waiting for him at His second coming..."when the veil will be removed from their eyes" LOL

Nothing is forced.

Those benefits extend to the poor and feed the priests.

Oh the poor underfed priests... </SARCASM>

Most look well fed, with big protruding guts.

Well, how can Jesus be the Messiah when Judiasm claims he will be a direct paternal descendent of King David?

Ok, some need a little exercise......Over 400K priests in the world that need 3 meals a day. That is 1,200,000 meals a day. Let's say $3 bucks a meal: $3,600,000 a day just for food for the priests.

That sounds like a pretty good argument for a "Priesthood Of All Believers"!

Well Jesus is. "Joseph - Mary’s husband. Joseph is a direct paternal descendant of the great King David, which makes Jesus an heir to the Davidic line. This heritage reinforces Jesus’s place in the Jewish tradition."

Very disingenious.

First, most around here need to eat far less.

Second, I don't see why your are allotting $3/meal/priest... Priests in poorer countries, where food is much cheaper, could probably eat well for 25 cents per meal.

Number of Catholics in the world is 1.086 billion times the average Catholic donation of $280 represents $304 billion dollars a year, minus 1.3 billion a year for meals. $302.7 billion dollars left.

Poor church.

Mary was a virgin. Being adopted does not make one a direct descendent.

Not really because not everyone was an APOSTLE nor KEEPER of the KEYS to HEAVEN and nor CHOSEN to be the Shepard of the Lord's Church.

Within the Church there are BISHOPS, PRESBYTERS (priests), and DEACONS. These make up the ministerial priesthood - apart from those who are not ORDAINED.

You do the rest of the math and tell me how much is left from that $302.7 billion dollars a year.
