buccaqueen
Had gallbladder out over 30 years ago and never thought I would ever get gallstones again. Anyone ever hear of this or knew it was possible? LOL I still have my gallstones in a jar the hosital gave me years ago...maybe I can make nice necklace now with these new ones. Guest Guest
I think your body has a lot of GALL giving you stones from an organ you no longer have!

Guest Guest
Maybe they never took your gall bladder out.
Guest Guest
Maybe they never took your gall bladder out. Maybe they did take your gall bladder out BUT, while doing so, they allowed some stones to fall out. They then settled to various parts of your body!
2pelo Honey
Interesting, BQ, because my Mom had her's out 3 yrs ago, and has been having occasional pains that her Dr thinks may be a stone.
Guest Guest
My mother has the same situation. She has had them numerous times since getting the gallstones out. They did a procedure at Guthrie that slowed them but they form on the stem and there is nothing to stop it really. They tried a medication but it did not help at all. 2pelo Honey
Really...that's disheartening to hear, because the pain is extremely uncomfortable when it hits. She just switched GI's, as the other didn't even want to investigate what was causing the pain, and this new one is the one who thinks there are stones...she just had some tests yesterday, matter of fact.
