Guest SCCer
Yes, but they haven't announced who it is yet. What are they waiting for? People want to know in case they might consider Seton, a decent coach might help with enrollment. It's like they are trying to hide something. Guest Guest
wonce again, seton will pronounce the new football coach when they are good and ready, its' none of you're bees wax! i know you are going to say bad things about the saints, but your going to be seprised next year when the new coach trains the new team next year, and they do real good, probley way bettern your school, so haha too you. in the mealtime, seton will be truley great in baseball and lacross this year, and woe to those who stand in our way. Wow. I strongly suggest that SCC focuses more on existing English programs. This is like reading an essay from a 2nd grader.
Guest SaintSucker
Please tell me you are kidding...this is obviously written by a Seton hater as a joke or a Binghamton basketball player as a creative writing assignment

Guest Guest
That school will be closing before he can build anything. We all better hope not. If SCC were to close, 300-400 kids would be immediately dropped into the public schools. At $17000 per kid (average per pupil expenditure) that would be a huge tax hit for us local taxpayers. Guest guest
They will be telling the students and players tonight who the new football coach is...to be continued. heard it's a guy from sidney. interesting how this plays out. lots of questions. this guy a teacher? if so, is he staying at sidney (i presume) or taking a teaching job at seton? is he living in sidney? if he is, is he going to commute here all the time, or is he moving close to here? this is important to know, lots of valuable time will be spent on the road, and seton's lack of facilities make it vital to get as much practice before the sun goes down. assistants to be named? they have any credentials? whoever it is, best of luck to him. has lots of work ahead of him. seton sure they can field a team? enough players going to play? Some good points, and good questions....Do most of the other teams in the area practice under the lights?....Can't really think of any that do - maybe BHS or UE deep in playoffs. The big issue is the number of players they will have in order to have a team...do they have enough bodies? And with that in mind, can they be competitive? Bodies are one thing, but can they get a representitive team, or are they just cannon fodder? Does the new coach have some talent to work with? You hear so many different stories about Seton football, some say great other say not great...which one is it? I think football can help that school's enrollment, if it were good. Guest SCCguy
Brian Mister from Sidney best of luck to the new seton football coach. i heard he is a great guy, and a pretty good football guy, but he will have his hands full at seton. the talent is questionable at best, and that is if the big qb stays at seton, but i heard he's leaving. so right off the bat he needs a qb. any word if the new coach will also teach at seton? how about his assistants, they are important if seton is going to be competitive. hopefully this guy wasn't misled into thinking he was walking into great situation, because it will take 3 or 4 very tough hard years to get that program anywhere near capable of playing against walton, tioga, and others, assuming they can even get kids to play. it's doubtful seton can ever win a division and certainly never win class d, but if this coach can go around 500 for a couple years in this program, he will show that he is a coach that maximizes his teams' talent. again, good luck coach mister
