27 Time World Champions Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 not gonna happen...union will not allow them to void his contract as it will lead to a slippery slope with other teams looking to get out from under contracts for same and other "reasons". I think they should allow it but the union is so powerful anymore I dont like the chances. Jeter will provide an emotional lift but with him and Youk on that side of the infield it will be like watching Old Timers Day...better hope they hit it right at 'em...
