I did vote for Resciniti, but it wasn't an enthusiastic vote, it was more a vote against the other candidate.  I was surprised the race wasn't a little closer... Resciniti is well known, but I guess the problem is she isn't well liked.  I think what hurt her the most was the Rec. Park tennis court disaster.  That pissed a lot of people in my neighborhood off.

Ms. Resciniti is not liked by her neighbors. She has now won one election and lost three.

2018 city council:  lost

2019 city council: won

2022 state assembly: lost

2023 city council: lost 

The only election Resciniti won was in 2019 when she and Korhack preyed on the emotions of west siders and exploited the tragic death of a teenager to win votes.  She should be ashamed of herself.

It was great to see Rescinti lose. I did a John Bender fist pump Wednesday morning when I saw the official results.
