It’s Solak who has criticized the GOP daily for years and who has pushed lies and false narratives about GOP leaders on radio and social media that helped these Progressives get elected. A familiar refrain from lazy dim-bulb losers and late night partyers posing as leaders that didn’t meaningfully support their candidates. The.vaunted local GOP machine with all its creative, innovative, dynamic leadership, with its higher level thinking brain trust, with its well-funded, focused organization, was humiliatingly defeated, and shut out in the City of Binghamton by one guy with a Twitter account? How could that be? How couid Solak’s weaker arguments - and I’m sure GOP leadership supporters would readily acknowledge they were weaker - defeat such strength, such organizational brilliance, such focus and determination? Those are the local GOP leadership’s qualities aren’t they? How could someone they scornfully dismiss as a crank defeat them? Lazy leadership lost it for the GOP in Binghamton, nothing else. They are so strong, so serious, so disciplined, so focused and fiercely determined to do what is best for their candidates and party constituents. What happened? He was all in, right? He is a GOP “leader”, after all. Binghamton matters to him, yes? So, he was out there showcasing his unequaled work ethic, infusing his electrfying energy into GOP City Council candidates’ campaigns to insure the city not be saddled 4 years with a veto-proof, hard left controlled City Council, wasn’t he?
