Guest memories
Name a song that brings back strong memories, good or bad, to you. Everytime you hear it, you remember a time, a place, or a person. Every rose has its thorn.... Junior High boyfriend and my first "love". He broke my heart, and I played that song endlessly. i hear it now and laugh. It makes me think of him though.

Kermit
Kokomo First heard it at a roller skating party in elementary school and liked it. Then my mom and I used to sing it in the car all the time. Brings back memories.
Guest memories
In elementary school my friends and I would swing at recess and sing California girls. All recess, we must have been so annoying. But it was fun..
Guest Guest-country girl-*
There are many for me, The stubborn one by Trace Adkins - reminds me of my grandfather who had Alzheimer's and how much I miss him. Your gonna miss this - Trace Adkins - reminds me of myself, wanting to grow up too soon and then all of a sudden you realize how much time has gone by and how fast it went. Guest Guest-country girl-*
here you go.... Your Gonna Miss This You beat me to it......I cant find "The stubborn one" on video but here are the lyrics....not all of it reminds me of my grandfather, just the fact that he had Alzheimer's, was in a nursing home, I bolded the parts that remind me of him. They say that smokin' ain't allowed in here But I don't care Try to sneak you some Saw your buddies at the barber shop And they sure fight a lot Just like they've always done You look at me Like you don't know who I am But that's alright Cause I know who you are You're the stubborn one My great-granddaddy's son The one who drank his whiskey from a coffee cup Time has stripped you of So many things you love But you keep fightin' on Cause you're the stubborn one Remember when we saw Hank Aaron play I was in second grade You snuck me out of school And you wore overalls to Sunday church You said the Good Lord's work Ain't done in a monkey suit You bought your tires down at Eddie Shaw's garage You said K-Mart didn't need your dollar You're the stubborn one My great-granddaddy's son The one who drank his whiskey from a coffee cup Time has stripped you of So many things you love But you keep fightin' on Cause you're the stubborn one The nurses wonder why I keep comin' back They tell me you can't hear me I guess I'm more like you Than anybody knew I can't let go of what I hold so dearly The stubborn one You're the stubborn one My great-granddaddy's son The one who drank his whiskey from a coffee cup Time has stripped you of So many things you love But you keep fightin' on Cause you're the stubborn one You're the stubborn one Yeah, the stubborn one You're the stubborn one
