Even ONE reason to vote for Doug Drazen?

You took the time to read it, did you not?

Why waste time on an "unelectable mad man"?

It took me all of three minutes to read the handful of worthless posts on that site. Most of the posts were three sentences long, and none of them offered any genuine solutions to any problems.

Again...why waste three minutes on his website and countless hours here trying to convince everyone he's a "madman" and "unelectable"?

Surely one so accomplished, so politically astute...and so "sane" has better things to do, right?

Why shouldn't I? Doug obviously thinks the site is relevant. It's a joke. He's a joke. He is about to run a fourth mayoral bid on the same pathetic platform that has failed three times in the past. Forgive me, but I am only trying to point out the error of his ways and spare the city from the joke that is Douglas Walter Drazen.

Doug, your blog is irrelevant. Three short posts in three years does not make a blog. The sad fact is, if you think your pathetic blog matters it just shows everyone how ill-equipped you are for the job.

Okay, so you have a blog, then POST something on it. Make it relevant. Why are you running for mayor? Where do you stand on key issues? How are you going to fix Binghamton's biggest problems? You say have problems with code enforcement. Well, how are you going to address it? You say you are going to reduce property taxes. How exactly are you going to do that? Anyone can say they are going to revitalize Binghamton, but how are you going to do it? You should be making a post there every day with some good ideas on how to fix Binghamton's issues. Give people hope, and a reason to vote for you.

You got to stop trying to hang your hat on term limits. No one cares. If term limits were still in effect, and you were running for office with an objective to abolish them, then it would be relevant. So you helped twenty years ago when they were abolished. Good for you. Move on. It's not impressing anyone. You are like a sad former high school football hero, that still polishes his football trophy from 20 years ago. Move on.

The term limits case changed the law in Binghamton, changed the way government works in Binghamton, changed the way political parties must operate in Binghamton - and by creating incumbent-free mayoral elections in 2005 and this year - changed history in Binghamton.

Cite one comparable accomplishment of yours.

You might want to use your mouse to properly navigate the blog. It has far more posts than three, and dates back to 2006. Can't you be honest about anything?

I have 2 friends who went to high school with Drazen. They said he was a smart but very weird. That would explain how he got his law degree and where he is today.

What law school did he attend?

I'm not running for public office. My accomplishments are not relevant in this discussion. I said, THREE posts in THREE years. Now go check your waste of bandwidth blog for the last three entries: March 2, 2013, February 18, 2013, and February 5, 2011. That would be three (worthless) posts in three years.

If you can't even comprehend that sentence, then you just proved my point again. You're a joke.

Three blog posts in three years are exactly three more than Rich David had. As you may recall, he was the officially endorsed Republican candidate for six days.

How could a State Supreme Court Justice, and then, 5 justices of New York's second highest court, not recognize what you claim is so obvious for all to see? A "joke" would be laughed out of court. It doesn't seem possible, especially when there were "seasoned" "serious" "real" attorneys arguing against the "joke".

The simplest and most likely explanation is that your description is deliberately dishonest.

Maybe some nice fresh material on the merits of having the main county welfare office directly across the street from Binghamton High School would be to your liking...

You seem quick, though, to say how someone should run for public office, how they should present their web site, and what they should be saying there to make it "relevant", like here:

So, your accomplishments in conducting political campaigns might speak to your credibility on such matters, especially when you purport to speak so definitively, so authoritatively.

And what accomplishment regarding the conduct of political campaigns do you have? "Field Coordinator" the NORMA! 2005 campaign for mayor of Binghamton; the most expensive last place finish the city's electoral history?

Term limits changed the law in Binghamton, changed the way government works in Binghamton, changed the way political parties must operate in Binghamton - and by creating incumbent-free mayoral elections in 2005 and this year - changed history in Binghamton.

Cite any comparable accomplishment of any candidate, declared, rumored, or otherwise.

All hail term limits.

The term limits case and the success of the initiative at the ballot box in Binghamton also paved the way for other municipalities in NY to adopt term limits.

Uh, no. That is already one of three blog posts that I was referring to. You wrote a worthless post two sentences long about that topic already. Keep linking to your joke of a blog, keep touting term limits in every post. You're just proving my point that you are unelectable.

Keep reading the blog, talking about it, and trying to convince yourself that it is irrelevant and just doesn't matter...when clearly you appear to be interested in all things Drazen.

Just can't be honest at all, can you? No wonder you were unanimously chosen Broome County's biggest liar.

Your opinion as to "electability" should be viewed in light of you being the "Field Coordinator" for the 2005 NORMA! mayoral campaign, the most expensive last place finish in Binghamton's electoral history.

Unlike that historic embarrassment, which could rightly be characterized as pathetically worthless endeavor, winning the term limits case was an historic accomplishment. All hail.

Historic embarrassments like running and failing for mayor for 3 (soon to be four) consecutive terms? How about some limits on how many times someone can run and lose an election?

I will apologize for not going back to 2006 in your blog and seeing you were still beating this dead DSS horse. I really didn't look past the three paltry posts in the past three years. Seriously, you've got to be the only person that cares about the location of DSS. I'm sure most of the kids at the high school don't even know or care that it's across the street. Would you seriously spend the money and change the location of this building? That would be a complete waste of resources, and proves you aren't fiscally responsible for the job.

Oh, hate to burst your bubble, but I'm not Ed. Just someone else that thinks you're a loser.
