ginger
^Tune in on Monday for the independent hearings sponsored by Senate Republicans...the stories are unbelievable. I'm surprised (or maybe not) JCOPE hasn't jumped on this already. Certainly public integrity has been compromised. #ZERO CONFIDENCE

One kid, maybe 27 yrs old, appeared to have some type of brain injury testified he lost 3 friends/family (because they think of themselves as family). He stated they appealed to everyone in charge to separate the sick residents and lock those units down. The residents were not given PPE. He stated his facility is huge and this was just common sense. Eventually they did these things but only after people were already dead. Pretty sad that the patient with a brain injury has to tell the management what they're SUPPOSED TO DO. We also heard from a bunch of nurses aides and family with the same story. The facilities waited too long.

ginger
Gotta love this guy. We need grownups running the show in NY. I nominate Senators O'Mara and Gallivan for Governor/Deputy Governor.
