This means the students in Deposit will likely begin the school year without a SRO. Weslar, a big Korchak supporter and donor, schemed with Korchak to prevent the legislation from passing. Weslar had numerous opportunities to ask questions or amend the legislation, instead he chose to hold it over. This will delay the hiring of a SRO for at least another month. If anything happens out there, Korchak and Weslar should be sued. Korchak is handling his loss so badly he is now actively working to sabotage the DA's office and hurt the students in Broome County. Mr. Best was a big part of our community and respected. Just embarrassing to say the least. I still remember the huging and kissing on live TV with Bob Weslar and boyfriend on City Council another embarrassing moment in front of the general public.
