mulligan
They get the cubs # 1 ss prospect, ex yankee Adam Warren ,and two other players. Plus, they have a really good chance of resigning Chapman next year. I like it. Now look for them to move Miller. Discuss
thomas
He certainly left the Yanks in a blaze of glory.

27 Time World Champions
Chapman is a flat out freak. The guy could very well throw the last pitch that gives the Cubs their first World Series victory in over 100+ years. How much longer can he throw like that without damaging his arm? I think that's the last we see him in pinstripes. It was fun while it lasted. The Yanks got a decent prospect but I don't think he'll ever be the player that Didi or Castro is. Look for the Yanks to use him as trade bait. Warren is a proven commodity in NY and may help. The rest of the haul isn't even worth mentioning. Great move by the Cubs. Gonna be years before the Yanks see a return if any. Yanks need hitting. Keep trading away pitchers and they're gonna need that too.
27 Time World Champions
FIRE SALE! I guess losing 2 straight to the last place Rays is pissing off the higher ups and they're giving their ok for Cashman to trade of the team. Andrew Miller to the Indians for 4 prospects. Great move by the Indians! Best reliever in baseball and just a great guy. Look for Beltran to go next. Or Nova. Rumors also swirling about CC and McCann
thomas
Indians got a great reliever. We'll see how the young prospect Frazier turns out. Will he be in Scranton? Somewhere I have a pic of Bernie Williams in Scranton when he was on Columbus.

thomas
He has rave reviews but this vid shows the hitch in his swing. The hands go down and up before swinging.
27 Time World Champions
A Brett Gardner type player with a fast bat (hitch or not) and more power. That's what he looks like to me. So hard to tell. From what I've heard, he's a 2017 mid season possibility. That's if everything goes right. The Sheffield kid has already been in trouble with the law. The Yanks now have 7 of the top 100 prospects. I like the homegrown talent more. I'm guessing more deals are coming and some of these guys are going to be part of them. 27 Time World Champions
Make that 8 of the top 100. Arguably the best farm system in baseball now. Carlos Beltran to the Rangers for Dillon Tate
27 Time World Champions
The fire sale continues. Ivan Nova to the Pirates for a player to be named later
27 Time World Champions
A-Rod needs to retire after this season. The Yanks are gonna need him the rest of this season as crazy as that sounds. Probably looking at 2017 before this haul sees results.
sportsexpert
Not impressed with these moves by the Yankees. Most of the acquired players were class A players? Not sure about these moves other than I like the fact the Yankees are getting younger. How long will Arod be around?
GTO
Chapman is ridiculous. Almost not human to throw consistently over a buck. I wish his off field baggage was less tho, but he is "WTF was that fast"

27 Time World Champions
Retire and give up 25.5 Mil for next year. Not likely. True, just wait to be released I suppose. Maybe Miami or another team would eat some of that money. Like a million or 2 :-)
