Guest Guest
G. TEACHER ASSIGNMENTS Elementary art and music teachers may be assigned up to two hundred seventy (270) minutes of instruction/supervision per day. Maine-Endwell Teachers’ Association Contract 2008-2013 Page 6 Lets see 270 divided by 60= 4.5 hours. Well you wouldn't want to over expose yourself to all the finger paint and stuff. Guest Guest
Wake up, people! Don't fall for the liberal idea that we can simply "reform" public education by abolishing unions, and then everything will be ok. It won't be. The only way to fix this problem is to completely abolish all taxpayer funded education. Not one single penny of our money should be used to pay for government run schools. Not one penny. Let families run and pay for their own education. Then and only then will this problem be fixed.
Guest Guest
To the extent that the FF were the rich elite, private education would be personally fine with them. Free public education goes back a long time in our history as the foundation of our democratic republic. You might want to refer to the organization of the North West territories, land grant colleges, etc. What kind of citizen begrudges children an education? If you’ll remember back then the landowners paid for it too. But only the land owners could vote on the system.Things have now changed to where you can vote for what you want someone else to buy for you. Many that didn’t pay anything got just what people wanted to give them.
Guest Guest
It is a parents sacred responsibility to provide for the education of there children. The most irresponsible and unAmerican thing a parent could ever do is to demand that the government provide it for them. Really, very few things are as offensive and irresponsible as that. Educate your own kids. Stop the insane reliance on government. Government is the problem. The less we have of it, the better. In la la land, do they have a happy hour? Have you checked out the "american family" lately? It isn't exactly the Harvard Law School. Poor Morality, predominantly broken homes, and multiple children out of wedlock. In the old days, I'd be a racist for posting this. Now I am just a realist.

Guest Guest
You people are slow learners. Here are the facts: 1. Public schools are socialist violations of core American values. 2. Labor unions are communist violations of core American values. 3. Core American values and the constitution require parents to provide education to their own children. There is no justification whatsoever for anyone to be forced to pay for the education of anyone except their own children. Given these facts, the only solution to the problems you people are whining about here is to abolish all public schools, and all labor unions. Problem solved. Guest Guest
The black T shirt is a give away, n'est ce pas? pun intended It's him? Really? That's hilarious! How do you go from "The Classic Rock Cafe" on KGB to the Maine Endwell school board in the midst of a 4 million dollar screw up? Who's the president of the board Howard Stern? How long has Wolf-man Jack been superintendent? Hey Todd! Your political career is probably over or you may be heading straight to the Whitehouse...its not unprecedented. This is very entertaining. Guest Guest
Everybody feel the pride? We are proud to be a District of Leadership! The Maine-Endwell Central School District (M-E CSD) has moved from being a District of Learning to becoming a District of Leadership. We view leadership as the foundational cornerstone of a professional learning community. In May of 2009, the Board of Education of the Maine-Endwell CSD declared that we will become a District of Leadership. A District of Leadership is a practice of instilling in all stakeholders that leadership of oneself is necessary in order to achieve effectiveness and to thrive in the 21st century, both personally and professionally. Maine-Endwell’s mission is to provide a world class education in order to develop responsible and productive citizens. We will establish a safe and caring environment in which all community members provide guidance and opportunities for continual growth, learning, and achievement. As a result, our students will realize their potential and gain personal and social skills essential for analytical thinking and working interdependently in a growing global society. Families will have stronger connections with us as they learn about leadership. We intend to do this by connecting the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Kids, Teens, and Families in all that we do within our total learning community. Guest Guest
Do you think M-E administrators and the school board will lead by example before laying off the workers? Is there any chance they may take a pay cut? Superintendent Jason Van Fossen $140,842.00 in 2012. How do you live on that? Jeffery Lamoreaux raked in $129,081.00 in 2012... almost makes him a one percenter. In 2009 Kathryn Sever vacuumed up $172,966.00 of taxpayer cash..yikes! Who is Mary Geisenhof and what did she do in 2012 that cost us $129,081.00. Zoinks! Darlene Darrow aka "the double D" had to make bank deposits with a dump truck! $126,452.00 in 2011. Hey Otis! Richard Otis $117,404.00 in 2012. David Cook $112,383.00. Whats cooking Dave? Victoria Xlander had to use a leaf blower to pile up all her money... $100,948.00 in 2011. Julie Gallagher $99,864.00 What?? Only five figures? She must be on food stamps or shes eating at Daves house.

Guest Guest
Speaking of the diving pool, it was passed by one vote. I have asked at least 200 random M.E.voters and not one voted for it. Makes you wonder. My neighbors son voted 3 times in the vote for the school budget.
