Just because you are so contemptibly lacking in what it takes to stand up for yourself doesn't mean there won't be some other private citizen made of sterner, more responsible stuff around to take care of you when you need it. You might get lucky next time you're staring down the hurty end of a beating, mugging, robbery, or rape attempt and be in the vacinity of someone with a little backbone, self-respect and concern for others.
