Seeing you want to forget the smaller out of area teams, you certainly don't want to put graduation rates in the coaching skills arena do you?

Back in the day, Maine-Endwell was the retarded stepchild of the STAC. Now they're on a run and it's like they're the first team ever in STAC or section 4 to string together some good years. 1985-1986 Binghamton or 1992-93 Norwich were far superior teams to M-E's current squad, which has had the advantage of a down cycle in STAC. Those other teams faced great competition, including division 1 players on other STAC squads. M-E has faced teams with 6'1 centers and molasses slow guards.

God, I don't recall Binghamton fans or the Norwich hillbillies being as obnoxious and annoying as the M-E trolls.

They haven't strung anything together. You're right about the STAC being down, but they didn't win anything last year. They just choose to brag about every small accomplishment. They are definitely the all time best at being obnoxious and have zero class. Think Ricky Bobby

When discussing today...some talk about yesterday??.most of the threads refer to current events..current coaches..accomplisments of current teams..why don't you speak of these teams , coaches as to what they are now accomplishing instead of comparing them to the past??..maine endwell has won two state titles in football..is it being a troll, to acknowledge this?.maine endwell has had some ...local...noteworthy success in basketball...compared to its competition it has been more so..is it being a troll to point this out??.lose your bias...if possible..give credit where credit is due..it will be as easy as making excuses for why it was attained....as you seem inclined to do with all things ..Spartan...teams...coaches..supporters...

People love to hate Maine Endwell. They're the Duke of Broome County. Good at multiple sports, and academics. You either love them, or you hate them.

How about you go back and actually read the posts. Very few are negative about M-E's modest basketball success, many acknowledge they are decent. It is the ME posts that constantly brag and put down anyone else's accomplishments. For as much success as they have had recently, they really act like every win is their first.

When you only play 6 or 7 kids, you cant compete in states. Never gonna win that way. Tough lesson for the best coach around, should have played your bench more.

They played 8 and when 2 backups were in Burke, went on a 10-0 run. Those who can play, played.

the object is to win the game..the kids have from now to next nov..aau, summer leagues to establish their roles on next years team..do you in all your wisdom believe maine endwell players do not get a fair shake in this regard?? if the kids can play the coach will utilize their abilities..this years team had about seven usefull players..those that can contribute at the varsity level..if the kids choose to come out ..they have every opportunity possible to earn a spot..no coach even the one you can not seem to stomach .....wants a short bench.. maine endwell had to go to theirs today and suffered...coaches play the kids they think will produce..

Great coaches coach their worst player like they do their best. He doesnt. The other kids are prep team or practice players to scrimmage the stars.

That's a stupid comment. First off Ocker played 8 players. Secondly, what I don't understand, is how does the younger Gallagher start over Sinicki?

I think playing in the Metro hurts M-E. They have to battle to win every game night in and night out. That dictates that they have a short bench. The 8-9-10 players don't play all season, but in the central they could play and develop? Ockers system dictates a miniuim of 10 players. They won the easier prize but in the end the lost the larger prize? Also, without a play called the M-E players are lost. Coach needs to teach the players to play ball? They need to be able to create and be a player?
