Endwellian Posted July 19, 2021 Report Share Posted July 19, 2021 I didn't think much planning went into the air show, and there wasn't much hype. After I read about the US Air Force Thunderbirds, I would have thought there would be a lot more publicity over them being in Broome County. So my thought was there wasn't enough planning that went into this show. And reading this thread confirms that. I don't think Broome County government and the airport in 2021 can support a show of that magnitude. The airport has been failing for many years. Broome County government has proven to be incompetent over and over again. And it looks like people's basic needs weren't met. Aside from the show being canceled on Sunday, it sounds like Saturday's show was the real issue.
