When is the last time you have won a State cup? Thought so. Shutup everyone knows the boys are where it's at. Leave the real winning to us. You realize the whole time Cook was at CF he had a team ranked in the top 10 of the state and he never even won a Sectional Title. His BCC teams have won nothing that matters since he took over there. Rankings mean nothing, everything for the teams is settled on the field and the girls side of Fusion and the BCC men has done nothing of consequence for years. And since you obviously know nothing about what your talking about let me explain, its not like high school where a coach can self promote their team and get ranked, when you play in any us soccer ranked tournament the results must be sent in by the tournament and they are then used to decide what tournaments you are allowed in and what flight you are put in. If you notice the team in question was in the top flight and defeated two teams with 2000 more points than them, both being sub regional premier teams. As for winning nothing of consequence for years they just did and they also were undefeated at Afrims playing against the U18 teams a couple weeks ago. You guys are rediculous, rather than arguing over rankings why not just recognize this team for what accomplishments they have made whether it be something you feel is huge or just mediocre, they are definately doing better than any girls team from this area has in quite some time. Its quite obvious that the Binghamton area is never going to produce the level of talent of the big cities they just dont have the numbers and by big cities I dont mean Syr, Roc and Buff they arent producing much either on the regional levels. Sure Empire wins a couple region 1 titles at U12 but thats because NYW plays 8v8 at this age and most of region 1 plays 11v11 so what teams they do play are the b squads from the bigger groups. There were 12 groups in the U17 B age bracket and the UFC 17B team won with the lowest points, so they actually placed 12th overall--a good showing and improvment over last year. If they had cared about soccer they would have found a solution that didn't include trying to alienate the majority of local soccer groups. No one has still answered why your DOC doesn't have any presence on the girls u16 group or oldest two boys groups? What the hell are you paying him for then? But lets say your right, thats 8 kids times 5 boys teams and 4 girls teams. Thats 56 kids that could benefit from something like this. Quit thinking this could hurt your school team and think it could be the best for some kids First of all, 5+4=9, and second of all 8 multiplied by 9 equals 72. How do not know how to add and multiply single digit numbers? Also, you need to know how to add and multiply single digit numbers to get into college, no matter how good at soccer you are. It won't be an athletic scholarship, but there is more money at the DIII schools then DI. Players can go to better schools, play more and pay less. This area is weak for the premier players, and the better players need to go to Rochester/Buffalo or Syracuse for the premier training and exposure. The premier teams are on life support now.
