Endwellian
George Phillips has embarrassed himself again for the 5th time? 10th time? I've lost count. Now please pick up your signs. My neighbor had one up, which surprised me. I saw him at the curb last week, putting out recycling, and I asked him about it. He responded "I never asked for one, someone just put it there." Sounds about right.
PeteMoss
Georgie sent out a letter asking for donations to pay off his debt. You spent it, You pay it off. Georgie gave $1,000 to Battisti's campaign. You pizzed that money away Georgie.

Isn't there an ordinance against leaving these eyesores out there once the elections are over? If not, there should be - take down the signs within 48 hours of the election or be fined $100/sign. Bingoloid
Working on a poem. Amidst the riots and pox we knew not what the future would bring but it was 2022, the year when George Phillips ran again The bombs had fallen we could not find food for our children but we knew 2036 was still the year when George Phillips ran again Charlton Heston returned to Earth and found that orangutans ruled the world in the year of our Lord 3978 when George Phillips ran again

Won't work. People will steal the signs, hold onto them until 3 days after the election and then plant them and call the sign police. Thurston Morton
Different municipalities have different regulations over political lawn signs. For example, in some municipalities, signs should come down after the primary, but can then go back up 60 or 30 days before the general election. In the city of Binghamton, signs can already be up for the general election. But following the primary, all losing candidates' signs should come down. The winning candidates, Tenney, Cornwell and Angelino, signs can remain up depending on the regulations of the municipality.
