ABB7 Posted February 29 Report Share Posted February 29 For a long time Vestal was under the radar, but with everything going on with scam artist Stephen Donnelly, and now the police chief fiasco, the town has been exposed. Now the new supervisor and board members want to have 2 police chiefs? Aren't these the same board members saying the Town is broke, and can't afford more school resource officers? Vestal could have a billion dollar surplus and 2 price chiefs would be a bad idea. Vestal could have the highest crime in the world, and 2 police chiefs would be a bad idea. Vestal now has he worst leadership of any local government.... and that's saying a lot! https://www.wbng.com/2024/02/29/vestal-supervisor-town-board-mulls-having-2-active-police-chiefs/ You’re right and you can see why people are complaining that the board is not working together when you have someone like Steven Donnelly, who is now gone to the media twice and bashed his new boss, Supervisor Maria. first time he claimed that Maria broke some sort of law and Donnelly reported her for criminal charges but last time I checked, he was arrested for fighting and was named the aggressor in the police report. now there is a petition going around on the vestal, four corners Facebook page about removing Maria from the board and overturning the election, which I find be interesting for a few reasons. 1) Donnelly has been known to impersonate people and Glassdoor job site placed an advisory on their website under donnelly’s marketing company that all of his positive reviews are FAKE 2) Maria the town supervisor has made it public that $4 million has gone missing during the last administration that Donnelly was on with Schaffer. This reeks of negligence and Donnelly has a problem on his hands and making up some petition to remove Maria which would never happen in a million years would help Donnelly. Looks like there is a motive for Donnelly to have her gone given she is shedding light on an issue Donnelly was involved in since he was on the board when 4 million went missing and that overpayment to Ex chief Butler. There was a petition to remove Donnelly from the board, and it got the needed signatures on change.org, but somehow it disappeared from the website. Makes sense why some new petition has popped up given what I have listed above. Donnelly was hit with a huge $144K lawsuit yesterday by his tax accountant and has atleast 10-11 active lawsuits where he is the defendant that accumulated within one year, is delinquent on his property taxes well over $30K, and now filing bankruptcy. Clearly the media has failed to cover his issues and he is now embolden to cry to the media that he has a boss and her name is Supervisor Maria Sexton. She never had someone hounding her during her first weeks in office like Maria has endured. Too bad they got voted out, Schaffer should feel embarrassed he ran on two separate tickets and lost twice. This is the same lady who followed Schaffers barking command to block the exit to prevent John Solak from exiting, horrible.
