Just maybe 2 weeks ago on twitter I was speaking with a young dad who took his son to see the Sullivans and asked him he played Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald while driving along the lake. ginger Posted June 13, 2023 Report Share Posted June 13, 2023 So. I'm headed to Florida this week. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone. Mom's in the ICU. She had a pericardiocentesis and still has the catheter in her chest. They took over a liter of fluid out. She's over 80 and her problems are complex but she's holding her own. My brother signed off on a DNR. I am super impressed that they are helping her. Guaranteed if she was up here they would have sent her home to die. I also have to admit I've used Halloween parties as an excuse to Dress Myself Up..just like her! I even had the gloves. God I miss the days of all things Vogue when fashion ruled. I can't say I love her 2023 stagewear. Looks like a bunch of moth eaten rags thrown together but Geez. She's got a few years on me. I can imagine what a tremendous effort it is for her to dance and sing at the same time. She'll be 90 and her fans will still show up. I thought her latest plastic surgery looked like crap, but on stage, she looks good. Good for her! 🙂 post edit...I had those boots in black and white!
