I am sick over this child abuse. And the DA Mike Korchak and Nasty Nadine let this woman off with a misdemeanor? This woman should be behind bars.

I believe Korchak and Laurghan thought they could sweep it under a rug for a favor down the road with a misdemeanor. Now you and the rest of us know better that this is a Felony charge right off the bat. Here’s the truth as it looks, the DA’s office got caught trying to sneak it threw as a misdemeanor because it’s a “friendly” meaning it’s a fellow lawyer friend!!! Good old boy network that the FACTs.

(WBNG) -- The Broome County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday Gabrielle Xlander, a former employee of the New York State Office of Mental Health, faces multiple assault-related charges.

The video, which allegedly depicts Xlander and is making the rounds on social media, shows a woman striking a child and asking “who is that?” while holding a picture of something on her phone. The child cries while they’re hit. At the end of the video, a man can be heard telling an Alexa device to call 911.

The district attorney’s office said Xlander was charged on Feb. 22 with assault in the second degree; a violent felony, and attempted assault in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.

Officials added Xlander rejected a plea deal on March 16 that would have seen her plead guilty to assault in the second; she would have avoided jail time and received five years probation and orders of protection for those involved, the district attorney’s office said.

The case will go to trial, but it is unknown when her next court appearance will be. If Xlander is convicted of assault in the second, she will face a maximum of seven years in prison.

In a statement sent to 12 News, the NYS Office of Mental Health said Xlander does not currently work for the Greater Binghamton Health Center.

“The NYS Office of Mental Health does not tolerate abusive behavior,” the official said. “This employee no longer works for OMH and the matter has been referred to law enforcement.”

Today is March 28.  According to the news story she was charged February 22.. over a month ago!  Why no announcement then??  And she rejected a sweetheart plea deal on March 16... almost 3 weeks ago!  Why no announcement then???  It seems pretty obvious the DA's office was trying to handle this one in silence, without any news coverage.  The DA's office is anything but transparent.  Good thing WBNG caught them. Even though this "news" is 3 weeks old.

Nasty Nadine probably informed her husband this sick woman wouldn’t be charged, or she would only be charged with a misdemeanor, because they are worried about not getting a campaign contribution from her father. That’s how it works with the Korchaks. Politics, politics, politics.

Thank you to BCVoice for exposing the video and the cover up by the DA’s office!

This woman is an absolute scumbag who deserves whatever misery she gets in prison.  If she could have pleaded that down and didn't she is as stupid as she is abhorrent.  She will probably find a guy that will try and exclude the video.   It needs to get as viral as possible ... reprehensible piece of garbage...

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- A former employee of the New York State Office of Mental Health was sentenced to five years probation for pleading guilty to attempted assault in the second degree.

Gabrielle Xlander was initially charged on Feb. 22, 2022 with assault in the second degree; a violent felony and attempted assault in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child; which are both misdemeanors.

The charges were brought forward after a video surfaced online of Xlander striking a 5-year-old child. The person who recorded Xlander reported her to authorities.

“The probation will entail any counseling [and] any programs that are required by the department of probation, as well as drug and alcohol treatment if necessary,” said Broome County District Attorney Michael Korchak, regarding the case.

Xlander told Judge Joseph Cawley that she takes the sentencing seriously.

“I’m very remorseful for my actions,” she said.

Xlander said she seeking treatment for her mental health and substance abuse.

Scumbag soft on crime DA Korchak offered her a slap on the wrist probation deal. This man has no intelligence and no conscious.

Exactly as I said six months ago. Korchak gave her a big plea deal, and she went from a violent felony to a misdemeanor charge with probation. Korchak needs to be removed from office.

The disgusting pig who beat the child is attorney Fred Xlander's daughter.  And Fred is buddies with Korchak and Loughran.  Under Korchak as DA, it's not about what you do, it's about who you know.

And based on the video he shared on Facebook Fred is a Mara Grace supporter (the 2021 Losing family court candidate lol). He posted a video of her working in a soup kitchen during the election. And as you pointed out his connections to Korchak and Loughran because loughran's wife is Mara Grace's brothers court attorney (family court judge mark young and Sara Loughran). Also, Korchak was law partners with Mara Grace's husband Chris Grace. Interesting huh
